re: Forum RP

0
Greetings Wrathers, due to some recent interested in an interactive forum RP I have decided to revive an old project from some time ago.

It will work like so. The RP created here will not Icly 'occur' until it has reached it's conclusion mainly due to the fact that certain characters might become separated or otherwise tied up in this story.
You can use any of your characters in this story, and you can even use this to help introduce one of your characters to the guild or just to have them present, if you do wish to introduce a character then send me a website PM detailing what character you'd like to introduce so I can Dungeon Master up a  good way for them to enter that you are agreeable to.

-This is not restricted to Imperial Characters.-

Yes it is true, this story will start Imperial yes but it will eventually lead to a point where people are in a situation where Republic characters can be present. Because of this you are allowed to have only 2 characters that you post as for this RP. They can both be Imps, Reps or a mix. You can also just RP 1 character.

There isn't a limit to how much you can post, but that doesn't mean that everytime you post you write a book, when you post try and keep everything in that one post.

I will be keeping this up for afew days for people to see and become aware of, give people time to decide if they wish to participate or not and to ask me any questions they might have. I will put up the introductory post on Monday the 24th after which there will be a 3 day period that people will have to put up responces and then I post and 3days again, etc.   I am open to suggestions to the time length but I think that 3 days is fair enough time for everyone to see and be able to formulate a responce for the RP.

re: And so it begins

((Introductory post, this will start on Imperial Side, for those of you who wished to bring Rep characters in I will let you know when it is time, and one last thing before we start. If at anytime you have a question or an idea about the story feel free to send me a website PM.))

*The message starts up loudly and with no visual, blasters fire non-stop and lightsabers hum and screech as they deflect bolts and burn through flesh, the screams of genuine pain and fear make it sound like an audio clip from some sort of horror themed holovid.*

"Please help us!" *A female voice yells out over the noise.*

"We're all going to die here, I'm not ready for this--...oh no...please no...NO-"

*Her pleas were cut off by a lightsaber and the rest of the battle seems to of died out as well. The rest of the message is silence but a technician rewinds and plays an enhanced segment of the audio. One can barely make out the words as someone speaks.*

"There is no fear...you go to him now."

*The message is stopped and the crew of the bridge look amoungst one another, clearly having been unsettled by the message. Lord Rampage however gestures to the technician.*

"Play it again."

*They do.*

Lord Rampage stands at the front of the bridge on the Darkest Shadow, the flagship of his Archon. Outside the transparasteel windows the glorious vessel stretches out into space, demanding respect simply by it's existence.

"Where did you say that message came from?"

*A young ensign quickly tapped some controls and made a good show of doing work, but the truth was that he had already located the signal and brought it up on a moniter incase the Lord asked.*

"The Outer Rim my Lord, there are no planets in the sector of space where it originated."

Rampage nodded  and contemplated. "Indeed...and we are the only ones who received this message?"

"Yes my Lord, the strength of the signal suggests it would not of made it very much farther...it was a miracle that we were right here...if not then no one would of heard this."

Rampage nodded again. "Take us back to the fleet and send out an all-hands. We are taking the Shadow on a rescue mission, I suppose it's been long enough since our last venture out of Imperial space."

The crew went to work on his orders, silent cheer amoungst them as they were finally on a real mission again, instead of being cornholed into escort runs for convoys. No one said it, but they liked not having Darth Ventrilo around anymore.

Lord Rampage pulled out his holo and tuned it to the Order's frequency.

"This is Lord Rampage calling the Order. Anyone wishing to participate in an expedition please report to the Darkest Shadow at the Imperial Fleet. Details will be given when you arrive."

Lord Viperias quickly replied. It's not like he was not already aboard the Darkest Shadow. His master's silence was most disconcerting, but the result was that the Sith Lord now spent much more time attending to the business of the Wrath, rather than his master's biddings.

The uncaring Sith Lord stepped on to the main deck of the Harrower-class battleship, eyes fixed upon the mysterious Rampage. He walked up the steps to the large platform overlooking the starship's mighty arms. "The ensigns are speaking of a rescue mission, Lord Rampage" Viperias said, his low-pitched voice an artefact from the stiffling and clumsy respirator. "Have you grown a soft spot for the troubles of the galaxy, or does this serve more interesting purposes?"

The young bounty hunter cants her head as her comm beeps from a frequency she has kept herself from for quite some time. Emerald hues glint under her snowy blonde locks as a sly grin forms upon her face as she responds to the message.

"I'm glad I've made my way back to make my services available once more then," she comments, "I will arrive post haste."

She directs her ship to dock at the Vaiken and she makes her way to the transport for the Darkest Shadow, her trigger hand itching already to fire. As she boards a brow arches at one of the excited ensigns and can't help but to laugh lightly at the exuberance. Padding to stand behind the two lords, she bows.

"Bounty Hunter Vris'kah reporting for this duty my Lords," she offers to them calmly, having just missed Lord Viperias' words to the one who sent the call-out.

*The obsidian black Fury-Class Starship the 'Strigoi Moarte' was already docked at the Imperial Fleet, its captain having been in the shadows as the message was played. Rhaegaar knew full well that Lord Rampage had known of his presence, but the others would not, so for pleasantry sake he stepped outward, kneeling before his fellow Lord as his cold dead eyes found the floor as he lowered himself down to one knee;*

"As always, I live to serve, my Lord."

*He said as Lord Rampage was one of only two people among the Order whom Rhaegaar would still kneel to, and being that his swordsmanship was unmatched by anyone save those two, no one was in the position to demand otherwise.*

[[Characters I'll be playing...
The Fringer (RPG Class), Incel'agun'doro ( Picture )
The Force Adept (RPG Class) and Bladeborn (KOTOR), Zanath'uul ( Picture )]]

"Woah, Bessy! Slow down, girl!"

The pilot of a beaten-down Nella 342 (with plenty of modifications!) pulled roughly on the joystick like controls attached to both his arms and legs; the hangar echoing with the loud screetches and groans of the aged craft. No matter what she wanted to do, her owner said otherwise--and whatever he said, went. Engines and machinery slowly died down, making sounds that would make anyone hearing swear they heard the damn ship chuckling or coughing. Once all of those buckles and clips were undone, the blue-skin slid out of the pilot's seat, pushing the beaten wide-brimmed smuggler's hat to the side with a grumble.
"Time to get to work."
Judging by no facial tubes and the dim, red light emitting from those goggles, the guy--equally as beaten up and aged looking as the ship--was a Chiss. Carefully stepping down the stairs to the lower floor and cargo hold of the light freighter, the red-eyed one gave a wave to a lazing passenger whom was playing a rather violent video game. This one, was no doubt, Pureblood.
"HEY, Girly! Nice of one o' your kind to finally want ta' talk to me, but ya' ain't gettin' any questions answered until you help me out. I gave ya' a ride here and playin' along to your Journalism game. You do somethin' for me."

Oh, what manners! Putting down the controller, the obvious Sith tugged on a piece of wrapped up hair at her bang area as she got up and trotted over. The Chiss commanded her not to look as she came
"Bantha dung, you're just as interested in finding out about me as I am you. You've never met a 'Redskin'--as you put it--on such a dead, washed up planet before." The bulky female Sith had no problem picking up the crates and supplies to load on the speeder.
However, it was a different problem for the other... *Huff* "Yeah, well I told ya' before. Our kind usually don't ever bother even looking at anything that's as dirty and un-techlike as Sleheyron. What were ya' doin', if ya' weren't pickin' up no slaves? ...Oh! Also, it's Bantha-shit."The Chiss' question was asked with genuine curiosity.
"Testing my skills there, of course. There's plenty of dangers on those Hutt controlled planets."
"HA!" A boisterous, wheezed laughter--the laugh of someone who'd been smoking for far too long--echoed through the hangar. "You're stars-damned right about that! If the beasties and gas don't get ya', the slavers will! Good on ya' for survivin'. How's about a smoke, eh?" The man put the cigar tin into the depths of an inside pocket as soon as it'd appeared. "Forgot. Imperial space makes my smokes illegal," said he with a grumble.
"From what you've told me on the way here, you'll be able to barter with your buyer and drop off your load double the price of normal."
The simple remark had the unwashed man's face turning a few shades of purple. Luckily, the hat over his head and dirt on his face might have covered up the brief moment that the blush held. "Wouldn't say that. The Sithies are stingy." Lagundo looked at the primal eyes of the Pureblood, clearing his throat and holding up a hand defensively. "N--not you, of course!"
"I know you're not used to being around my kind. I'll let it slide, since you're right on some degree. Not all of us are prim and proper, though. I, for one, know that most--if not all--material goods mean nothing when you're dead."

After the deal had been made--20 thousand for a few boxes of medical supplies--the two were heading back, when the Sith's three fingered hand grasped his shoulder, preventing movement forward. The other hand had touched her ear, eyes closing. Thanks to being in lieu of Irzulue's daughter and training with her, it was only natural that she had contact with her mother...and the mother's contacts.
"Looks like we're not going to be boarding that orange monstrosity that you call a ship, yet."
Lagundo himself had heard the message, too. The beat-up Fringer took quite a bit of offense to the other's words, but the message had come to him, too--the red-and-white clad Archon had asked for his help in a few various things, recently, and he could never turn down making new 'friends'--who were, in reality, contacts. Blue lips thinned, pushing to one side as his mechanical hand's fingers press against the cup over his ear. An improvised, low tech hearing aid. Lagundo'd lost some of his hearing due to years of doing spice. He'd lost a lot of other things, too, that he didn't like admitting as much.
"Yeah. I can't -wait- to see if Frannie's friends are like her." Lagundo's voice was laden with sarcasm.
Too bad he knew that they wouldn't be as bubbly and optimistic as the green-skinned Pulvair that he'd strangely gotten fond of. Living life on the fringes of the galaxy and having everyone you met usually want you on the end of their vibroblade once they were done with you, meant that there was no room for having the heart to make friends. But Fran...she was different. Hell, a lot of Invicta was different. He didn't seem to figure it was because they were Imperials, and not the lowest of the criminals like himself. The two finally boarded the ship--it'd be Incel'agun'doro's second time here, if he was thinking correctly. Lowering the hat over his head, the middle aged man grimace behind the shelter of his animal skull-and-tooth adorned hat, trying to remember he was speaking to Sith. The last time he acted out in front of them badly, he'd lost his leg. Zanath herself was quiet, looking about the ship with awe--much like a child would. She was quite young, even considering the Pureblood's shorter life spans.
"What'cha need, Boss?"

re: Morgan the huntsman

0

The swarthy skinned huntsman replayed the holo message a second time, just to make sure he heard it right.

"Sergeant Rist, Lord Ravage is seeking assistance in an investigation and rescue mission. In furtherance of that design, I am assigning you to his team. Select a squad of scouts to accompany you and report to Lord Rampage. I want to ensure that he has competent eyes and ears on the ground. As you know, our ranks swell with Force wielders and your skills and talents will be well used. Be forewarned, use that uncanny skill of yours to great effect, for if the woman was slain by another Force user, you will not last long if your intent is apparent Sergeant. Also, you represent the Wrath and me, therefore, if I hear you call Lord Rampage or any sith with anything but the utmost deference or respect, I shall tear off your left ear from where I sit.

Morgan instinctively reached for his ear because when Archon Irzulie Urdu, Darth Shai'Midri called him the first time, she demonstrated her talent by tweaking his ear sharply. Morgan Rist, the backwoods sniper assassin from Alderaan, packed his grip and collected his gear. He hefted his favored weapon, a custom gauss rifle which fired octagonal depleted uranium slugs through a series of magnetic rings ... Trading range for silence and invisiblity compared to a modern blaster rifle. The huntsman had an uncanny ability to score bulls-eyes over iron sights at 1 kilometer while assuming a sort of zen state, which brought him to Irzulie's attention.

Talking to nobody in particular, the sniper spoke with a soft voice with a drawl thicker than molasses in Winter, "Ayup. Ah reckon, you 'n me better let Lawd Rampayge know that we'uns gonna be wi' him'n his. Mebbe we maht find some track or sign a Missy Tobi out younger ways. Less go Meg, ol gal."

Yes, the backwards man from a modern civilization was talking to his rifle as he walked to the bridge where he stood in the back, watching and surveying the others as the arrived, his liquid brown eyes drinking in everything as he took stock of his comrades.

Varinia's eyes opened as she heard the voice in her head...wait...in her head?

She shook her head and blinked, having a momentary panic as she forgot where she was. The voice was not, in fact, in her head. It came from the direction of her holocom, which was resting right next to her. After setting a course for the Shadow, she physically and mentally prepared herself for the mission ahead, grabbing her double-bladed lightsaber before hurrying to where the men and women were being assembled. When she arrived, she bowed to Rampage before giving a nod to the others, remaining silent.

((Forgot to add this to my previous post, sorry -_-))

*Showing up fashionably late, as per usual, was none other than the son of Rhaegaar, a Sith who favored white and gold armor and carried a white/faint blue Lightsaber. As he pushed open the doors he clapped three times loudly, chuckling lightly*
Well well well, isn't this a sight? My father on his knees, where he rightly belongs."

*Cyno shouted smugly from the doorway. In his eyes he'd already accomplished more than his father, as he had gained the trust and command of five competent squads of the Orders soldiers, having 'convinced' them to come into his service. He then slowly approached and bowed at the waist Lord Rampage*

"At your service my lord Rampage."

*He said, knowing that he would most likely be unusable for the mission, but knowing it was better for politics sake to publicly make the offer of his service nonetheless.*

re: A bleeding heart

0

*Lord Rampage turned and gave Viperias a once over that was lost behind his helmet. He gestures slightly to the left but not at anything specific as she speaks, his words bathing in sarcasm.*

"Oh yes, my bleeding heart compels me to assist anyone or anything that is in need. Just the other day I was helping an old Darth cross the street and getting a Vine Cat off the lightning towers on Dromund Kaas..."

*Others began to appear now and Rampage nodded silently to each of them as they arrived, then his eyes saw someone he had thought long gone.*

"Hunter Vris'kah...you have been gone for a time. We have not met but I am Lord Rampage, trusted protector of the Archon Darth Shai'midri."

*Rampage nodded to Varinia and noted that while the others mostly bowed or greeted him in proper fashion, Rhaegaar took it upon himself to present the full set of honors unto someone of higher position. Rampage took note of this.*

"Rhaegaar, do stand. I am afraid we might have only met once or twice. Is it Lord Rhaegaar? Or do you prefere another title?"

*Upon a responce from Rhaegaar Rampage would nod and then lead the group over to a large holo-table where a Lieutenant and a Captain were standing at parade rest. When the group approached they both came sharply to attention then the Captain stepped slightly ahead of the Lieutenant and spoke.*

"This is all of them my Lord?"

*Rampage nodded.* "You may begin Captain."

*The captain nodded and both he and the Lieutenant went to at-ease while the Captain began to pace while he addressed the group.*

"A few hours ago we intercepted a distress call from an unknown vessel, after coming out of hyperspace and clearing up the signal it was determined that the SOS came from an Imperial vessel."

*The holo-table came to life showing a Gage-class transport.* ((Black Talon design.))

"The vessel in question is an advanced survey ship that scouts areas of space for uninhabited systems that the Empire may lay claim to. The sector in which the signal came from has no recorded planets or any stars that have planets capable of sustaining life. The signal was so weak that when we initially picked it up the message was nearly lost as background noise, however thanks to a particularly gifted Ensign, the signal was spotted and amplified to something we could listen to."

*Rampage stood in attentive silence as the Captain spoke, and nodded as he mentioned the Ensign. Rampage would have to remember to send in a commendation for the Ensigns' attention to detail. He stepped out and stood beside the Captain.*

"So far as we know, we were the only vessel to pick up the signal. As such we will be the first ones to respond. A formal message has already been sent to the Imperial Military and a reply sent back to the distressed vessel, however doubtful they might receive it. Our task is simple, jump in and render any assistance that is needed to save the crew and the ship if we can. The SOS came with a recorded message that may give us some insight of the situation onboard, please remain silent until the end."

*Rampage nods up at a Ensign standing on the opposite side of the holo-table and the message plays.*

*Rhaegaar shook his head in reply to any other title, before rising slowly as he was bid. He remained silent as a grave from the moment he rose to the moment the recording was over. After which he arched a powerful brow and took a step forward*

"My Lord. Not that I would question the competence of your crew, but with as weak and unnoticable as the signal was, how can we be sure of its origin? The last bit, that was enhanced, sounds much like a Sith to me. In fact, is 'no fear' not part of the whole Sith Code? Can we be sure this isn't some republican trick to get us to attack our own forces? I mean, the imperials may be lesser than Sith, but they do have a certain... pride to them that makes them commendable, and the ones low enough to send such a pathetic cry for help are few and far between. Most would rather die before sending out a message that made them sound so weak."

*He says, folding his arms over his chest and stepping back in line with the others when he was finished.*

Varinia waited for him to finish, and while she did listen to him, she was busy mulling over other possibilities. "Let us also keep in mind that it may be something not of Republic origin, although I doubt this is the case," she stated quietly, mostly aloud to herself however. "And bouncing off of what he said, that doesn't sound like a cry for help against the Republic. They'd most likely send out a message saying that they need assistance, but not in...such a fearful manner."

As she stated her thoughts on the matter at hand, her brow furrowed in thought. "As for the last part of the message...I'm not quite sure what to think of it. Doesn't sound Republic in the slightest to me."
